Dryad Studios has specialized in Custom, Limited Production, and Reproduction Arts & Crafts Furniture since 1985. Our shop has capably reproduced hundreds of original pieces. We now focus mainly on Original Designs, incorporating a wide range of traditional and innovative elements. Our work includes all of the familiar styles, including Mackintosh, the stronger forms of the "Mission" lines, and a broad range of other, "Arts & Crafts", furniture concepts. he shop, studio, and our home, are built on a 160 Acre Tree Farm that has been under continuous management by us since 1978. We are about 7 miles from the canoe and cabin rentals at Ponca and Boxley Arkansas, and the Upper Buffalo Wilderness Area. This area is located at the Headwaters of the Buffalo National River, famous for it's scenery, canoeing, and back country hiking through the adjacent Ozark National Forest.
Since 1984, we have made thousands of pieces of all styles of Arts & Crafts furniture for individuals, antique collectors, antique dealers, interior decorators, designers, architects and restoration projects. Our work has been featured in National magazines ranging from Architectural Digest to Better Homes & Gardens WOOD Magazine.
We have been raising, logging, sawing and kiln drying quartersawn Oak lumber on our Tree Farm, in the Arkansas Ozarks, since 1978. This wealth of experience, from producing our own wood, has enhanced the quality of our Arts & Crafts furniture dramatically.
Our well equipped, 7000 sq ft shop enables us to make almost any piece of Mission /Arts & Crafts Furniture.
