Description
This is a piece made from many extra pieces lying about in the shop. Not at all shabby, even if some of the pieces had been passed over once already due to color difference; mostly darker or with dark streaks in the wood.
So, we chose a rather classic dark oak color to compliment it's tone.
UPDATE- this individual piece has sold! Feel free to inquire about similar pieces, though.

I think that is the beauty of the Craftsman movement and the designers that came out of it. There is a simple elegance in using parts that don't quite match. That impart an individuality to each and ever piece regardless that the pattern is the same.
That's what made pieces made during this period stand out. It was that rugged, yet simple, clear, and thrifty individuality.
